[Fixed]New Version of Galaxy Forge just crashes on trying to open?

Hello, I just downloaded the new version of Forge Tools, and neither Galaxy Forge nor Particle Forge will run. Both of them crash at startup with the error message of: "Galaxy Forge has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I get the same message from Particle Forge. Except it says Particle Forge needs to close....

I have tried using the Forge tools download and the Galaxy Forge downloads but they both do the same thing.

Any Help would be appreciated.

They are working on it, people are missing some .dll files so they are fixing that issue should be out shortly.

Same, Get crashes from the GF download and the FT download, neither DL is working.


When clicking on the GF.exe it crashes.

And make sure you have .net 2.0 installed as well.

Okay have tested. Works good on vanillia cannot get to work for entrench. Tried to copy over to entrench file for galaxy. why wont it work?

The forge no longer crashes, but I can't see the map in the game menus. I saved my map in the galaxy foler and it doesn't show up in game. Also tried the galaxy folder inside the entrenchment folder. Am i doing something wrong?

If you save it in the galaxy folder in the "Sins of a Solar Empire" directory, it should show up in vanilla Sins.  In order to get it to show up in Entrenchment, I think you need to put it in the Entrenchment/Galaxy folder AND add it to the Entrenchment/galaxy.manifest file.

Has the same problem , and got latest .net from microsoft. Even tried to uninstall .net and reinstall it.

Still gets this notis when i try to start up galaxy forge, is there anything i can do?
