[Fixed]SoaSE Won't Load

Whenever I load Sins of a Solar Empire, it crashes on the initial blank screen. An error message appears later, saying that the Runtime had been requested to act in an unusual way. I have Sins v1.14.045, and I'm worried that the recent update may have caused it to crash. I also have GalaxyForge v1.1 and it may be the saving of GALAXY files that caused it. Finally, it may be the fact that I often rummage through the AppData and Program Files for the game. I've never experienced this problem before, and the first incident only caused a slower loading speed. Help!

It's the custom maps. Move them out of the Galaxy folder in the Sins install (and the No Pirates maps, too). I haven't kept up on the changes needing to be made to them (I don't think it's just the versionNumber this time) to make them work, I'm sure someone else will pitch in here :P

Sure, I already know. Try saving the GALAXY files to your documents area, then move them to the galaxy area in Program Files. In case you don't know, the file path for that is C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy.

Thanks! The game is up and running again. However, I'd really prefer a way to run Sins with at least one of the custom maps. Is this possible?
