Windows explorer crashes under WB

I'm having issues with every pulldown in the Windows Explorer (not I.E.) menu (File, Edit, View, Tools, Help) except for Favorites crashing back to the desktop when I click on it. I'm currently running the Leo skin, but it's happened on the 2 others I've selected as well (Aero metal and Dragon). I thought it might be because I didn't use Impulse for the first installation (file obtained via link in Stardock sales e-receipt), but after uninstalling, rebooting, installing via Impulse, and a 2nd reboot the problem continues. Reverting to the WinXP default fixes the issue, but I'd rather know of a fix than have to change skins every time I want to create/edit folders in Explorer. Tried searching forum for preexisting thread, but was unsuccessful.

those days are way off, I have the exact same build of windowblinds and my dates don't look anything like that.

I suggest you use windowblinds to reapply your default windows theme and then uninstall the program and use a good cleaner to remove all traces of it from your system, then download impulse and login using the email and password you used when you purchaed windowblinds. Then use impulse to download, install and activate the very latest available version for you.

Where did you get this copy of windowblinds?. One other suggestion is to drop an email to support@stardock.com attaching all the details from the electronic receipt you would have recieved when you originally purchased windowblinds and see if they can help you. Good luck :)

The original installation was the download obtained from Stardock's email receipt on the 20th, and the second installation (yesterday) was via Impulse. Edited first post to make that more clear. Will look into uninstalling with whatever 3rd party uninstaller I have laying around.

Do you have nvidia nview installed?

If so try disabling it.

Yes, and disabling it did the trick. Thanks!

for anyone else with this issue, disabling nwiz.exe from your startup through msconfig will do the trick.
