i just downloaded the wraith skin suite from wincostomise, and now i cant figure out how to activate it, i did not download it from the impule website, im now frustraied.
Uninstall Wraith>Install Impulse>reboot>Install Wraith via Impulse.
its not installed at all, i jsut have .wba file on my desktop, what do i do with it? I have impule already.
Do you have WindowBlinds? You need WindowBlinds to apply the .wba
I wish there was some kind of warning like that on the site, i feel like i just waisted money, all it was was get impule and i got a download link, now i have to get something else?

Daeson, lets start from the beginning with you telling us the things that you have downloaded. That way we can offer up some help.
Ok, in order, here is what I did.
Ordered the master skin from link, got my email.
Downloaded impulse.
Downaloaded the .wba file from the link i was provided.
thats all i'v done,
Okay, now we have a starting point. Unfortunately you are going to need to get an additional program in order to install and apply the skin you downloaded. You will need a program called WindowBlinds. There is a trial version but it expires in 30 days from the day you install it. It is meant and an evaluation copy to see if you like it. So...from what im gathering impulse is complerly useless to what i wanted to do?

It's also a ste browser, but that's for later. The link will tell you about WindowBlinds. You will need to purchase that if you wish to use the theme you purchased.
I know what happened...you saw the theme and thought it would work by itself, but it doesn't work without WindowBlinds.
The good side is thay it will apply all the themes in the WindowBlinds Gallery.
It's too bad that it isn't clearly posted that you need Windowblinds to use the themes.
WindowBlinds changes the look and feel of your Windows Desktop by applying visual styles to your entire Windows environment. When a visual style is applied, they change nearly every elements of the Windows GUI such as title bars, push buttons, the Start bar, menu and more.
Unless one were to click on the Windowblinds Website link shown they would have no idea. It should clearly state that one must purchase an additional program to use the themes, .. but it doesn't...
I feel for you Daeson, but you would do yourself a favor by purchasing the app if you can. If you like this kind of thing you will not be dissappointed.

from what i read it made it sound like impulse was the new star dock,and alot of those things have adds at the top, any ways.

I agree with phoon...they should have that on each theme...but get WindowBlinds...you'll be able to apply all the free skins as well....and there are hundreds in the gallery: LINK
And you will need Impulse as it's not just for downloads (of software) it's also the updates platform.
