Other 4x games.

I have a Laptop (spec below) so have to get games that are usually a bit older so they will work on my system. Does anyone know some other 4x / turn based stratecy games I can try. I have GalCiv 2, Sid's Civ IV and Colonization, Sword of the Stars which all play OK except maybe Civ IV when it is the end of a turn and it is the AI turn, the globe is spinning, units are moving and pop-ups are popping up then there can be a a stutter sometimes.

Master of Magic from the early 90's was tons of fun and one of my favorite 4x games. I still play it occasionally, but it can be work getting it to play on a vista machine. I haven't been able to get it to do it; I can only get it to play on my Imac running XP on bootcamp. On the plus side, you can get the game for free on the web now.
