What would you do?

When faced with this.

Hyperion gates.  I and my ally control an entire system.  3 unfair Advent AIs are allied against me. At Porta, the chokepoint just off the star, they have positioned their entire forces.

drone hosts: 38
Guardian: 37
Illum: 72
disciple: 83
Subjugator: 32
crusader: 23
purge: 5
defense: 5

Frigate total: 295

Rapture: 2
Radiance: 2
Halcyon: 2

I am Vasari and have maxed my fleet to 1 fleet support, and this is set to small fleets.  I have 3 Kosturas built and aimed at the planet from random firings.

That looks beatable.

hmm what sort of fleet do you have.

you will need about 76 LFs , 60 LRFs , 10-20 carriers, 15 flak, 5 subverters, 12 overseers, 10-25 heavies and a skintara, evacuator, kortul and maruader.

Go through a worm hole? XD

As for what I would do.... I would get the five planets around that atrops sta then build up. Also time your fleet arrival with the firings of your super weapon so there ships are disabled long enough for you to make hit and run attacks or even the odds.

The AI isn't that great at prioritizing Subverters, and you can use them to shut down the second biggest threat in that fleet - the Illuminators.

The carriers are next up, but instead of going with LFs to knock them out (and especially if you're playing Entrench beta 3) because of the mass of guardians, I'd just go mass flaks and Jam Weapons on Kortul. Now that carriers don't need to be engaged directly to suffer a build penalty..

Hyperion's Gates doesn't have Wormholes.

remember, this is small fleet size-only 1750 fleet supply.  so that is a huge fleet, comparatively

This is v1.12/3 (don't remember).  up to date but not Entrenchment

I have only:

40 Kanrack Assailants

51 Skarovas Enforcers

44 Sentinels

8 Stilakus Subverters

1 (yes one) Ravastra Skirmisher

6 Seruven Overseers

22 Lasurak Transporters

1 Skirantra Carrier

2 Jarrasul Evacuators

2 Kortul Devastators

and this fulls up my entire fleet supply

I thought of a possible gambit while I was browsing other threads:

Send a fast fleet through with the support of a Kostura strike, and strike at a specific empire's worlds, drawing their fleet away and halving the fleet size (their boxes on the UI is 3 times longer than mine) bring the fleet to the most remote possible planet so that it takes them as long as possible to come back.

might this work?

(also found out that you can increase max fleet of a save, from small to normal or large fleets)
