If you're using paid OD Plus now, did you have the free version installed before? If so, did you uninstall the free version before installing the paid version? If not, uninstall the OD Plus (and the OD free if it's still showing out there), reboot, and try re-installing the Plus.

Also, on XP the systray function will only work if you are logged in as a user with Administrator rights.  If you are logged in as a Limited user, you can make the systray work by starting ObjectDock using the right-click "Run As" option and using an administrator user and password.  If you use the "Run As", you are actually using, modifying, and saving the Admin user's docks.  If you want, you can also create a systray dock in the Admin User, use the "Run As" once to load the Admin dock each time the Limited user logs on, exit ObjectDock, and then start it up again normally and the systray will work during the current login session and use the current user's docks- the Admin rights need to be there just once during a current Limited user logon to get the systray services started up, and those services only start up when a systray dock is loaded.

I'm not familiar with XP Pro but I know you can fine tune the user permissions better there than with XP Home - you might be able to tweak the user somehow.

Any of this get it?

DaveRI pretty much nailed it.

Running as a limited user is going to be pretty dismal if you want to use most of our apps.  Alot of the fun stuff done with the system requires admin privleges.  Although it is possible to work around it with "Run as.." and other tricks, the overall experience will be MUCH better if you run as admin.  It's unfortunate that security and convenience need to be on opposite ends of the spectrum.

:O  Holy cow, mark my calendar, how did that happen? :D Thanks, made my day.

Ya trying to keep a machine functional with limited users is a bit of a challenge, and not just regarding Stardock.  It's a flippin' hobby, can't imagine why so many people don't want to bother with it.  I manage to keep everything skinned though one way or the other (with the occasional nudge from the fine folks at Stardock support of course), so I'm a happy guy.|-)

Should work.  If nobody else has any other ideas (and they certainly might), you might try uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling.  Also if you had any anti-spyware running while you were installing the first time, try installing with the anti-spyware unloaded (no, there's no spyware issue there, the anti-spyware software just has an annoying tendency to get in the way).  Perhaps anti-virus as well, cautiously of course.

You can also try installing through Impulse (http://www.impulsedriven.com/) which will get you the latest updates and tends to do a better install job than the standalone installers.
