Recent $20 offer Q

I just purchased the upgrade to Object Desktop (from a standalone), the e-mail I recieved stated that the standard version of My Colors came with this deal.  In Impulse My colors still shows, and installs, as the free version.  I apparently recieved BootSkins instead which isn't listed anywhere as being part of the Object Desktop 'family'.  What's up with this?  Is it a glitch?  Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks, Shannon

I guess I read your post a little differently than Melibee did.  There is only one version of MyColors, and that's the free version you have installed, so you are fine there.  The MyColors program is free and they charge for the themes (other than the ones MeliBee referred to above).

Object Desktop subscribers get discounts on the MyColors themes, or at least they did (things change and I lose track).  To get the discount though you need to use your internet browser to go to the website here: https://www.stardock.com/products/mycolors/    and go to a theme you're interested in.  About halfway down the page you'll see a big button that says "Have an Object Desktop subscription?  Click here to get the discounted price!"  I don't think the discount is accessible if you buy them through Impulse, can't swear to it.  Also, the non-branded themes (e.g. "Designs", "Fun", "Holiday" catagories) will be less expensive than the branded themes (e.g. "Collegiate", "NBA", "NHL", "Rides" catagories).  I tell you all this because I get the impression you're interested in the MyColors stuff, hope it helps.
