After update....NOTHING WORKS!

Alright peeps!,

Thought, as most people do, that updating my deskscapes would probably be a good idea.

I was wrong.

I've spent quite alot of money on some premium dreams so this is quite annoying tbh! I have no idea why, but for some reason no Dreams will play - there is just a static desktop ( just the ones supplied with windows ) with a leaf ( boring... :(). Also, i've gone to 'ABOUT' on the Deskscapes menu and it seems im missing at least 3 FILES!

What the hells this all about?? I've tried download new codecs and made sure they weren't conflicting ( dont understand why cos it was fine before! ), and now for some reason i can't even uninstall Deskscapes cos of this new impulse things stopping me from doing it!

Anyone! Someone! Please help!!

Have you tried uninstalling in StarDock Central? I would give that a try, reboot and then reinstall in SDC also.

I have trouble installing apps in Impulse occasionally and this is the best way for me to fix it.

Cheers for the fast response man, think i might have cracked it.

For some reason my spywarehunter has found something called 'HeurEngine.Packed.Execryptor' which is marked as 'Suspicious', noticed when i try to reinstall it starts flashing. I hope to god this works!. Its so annoying having to go back to a static desktop!

I dont have stardock central mate, im not too sure what that is to be honest, but the only stardock programs i have are Impulse and Deskscapes. Gonna try and reinstall with all firewall and spyware off.
