Fences - suggestion

Need to reassign double-click on desktop to some other action

I love this app! I wasn't sure about the concept, but the implementation is so silky smooth that I'm totally won over. I feel so clean!

There is a conflict with DirectFolders in that both utilities want to define a meaning for a double-click on the desktop and neither has a way of reassigning this to some other gesture such as control-click or control-double-click. Currently, I'm getting both actions at once.

In general, globally defined magic keys or click sequences should always be user-modifiable. There are only so many possibilities, and the likelihood of collision with other apps is high.

second the suggestion for the double click to be re-definable. i use directfolders also and this would help.

If you give the desktop focus you can use the [Esc] key to toggle fences until something is done.

Maybe you could create a "subcategory" for FENCES...

All the relevant posts would be grouped together.
