I will actually say that this is brilliant for the moderaters. I think everyone on the dev team (who isn't bringing us the precious entrenchment) will know of this program and be finding a way to prevent it by this evening. What would you call it? Its sort of crowdsourcing, maybe, but its not exactly the crowd thats highlighting the errors. Can we call it mobsourcing?

Well the program is actually one that has been used to cheat at a variety of games people "in the know" of said program have been calling it teach engine so people who don't know about it won't go searching around to find it and abuse it.

I have reported this and in some of the patches the program was rendered useless but now it seems to have some working portions that many Are abusing. Im not going to slander a certain group of players or anything by saying who I know for a fact is using this so thats all I have to say on it.

I didn't think it was possible to cheat on ICO.  That's news to me.

You never wondered why 1.05 why some noobs who lagged alot in games were putting out almost 3 times as much fleet as you. one of the side effects of using the program is lag and screwed up game physiscs. Sometimes you could tell they are cheating like how this one game 15 minutes in this Guy had 4 capships and 20+ heavy cruisers rolling around. thats obviously a cheater right there.

Maybe that's why everyone is complaining about desynchs, eh?

Either I was just too naive or never noticed.  I did notice some people lagged a whole lot, but I never noticed monster fleets early game.  Wow, after 900 something games in ICO, I never knew. 

lol I originally thought that too because I never desynched, But then I thought it had to be a problem with how the new hosting was set up and people who normally had problems in games before were having desynch troubles.

Still you never know.

to tell the truth its mostly happened to me when I play sins with players of Hamachi. Though occasionally I do find the odd ICO who really does cheat. Its really hard to tell if they do if your not playing the same Race as them.

Well, a few desync bugs were genuine. But it would make sense, I mean, since each player in Sins runs their own simulation on their PC and the game host only syncs them, a hacked game will differ from everyone else's and the entire thing will go out of sync. Whereas you take a game like Counterstrike where it was client-server and a hacks worked because the server would just propagate the cheated data to all the connected players..

actually The way i'm told it works is that it just speeds up the whats going on the cheaters end while everyone else stays normal.

like if a colbalt fired once every 1 the cheater would fire twice every second. If the player at the beggining was getting 10.5 creds a second the cheater would be getting 21 credits a second and so on.

psh like IC is gonna do anything about and the only reason I didn't say the real name cause I don't want anyone else using it. Since the almight "Morally right" spiralblitz Doesn't cheat. No one else besides me knows how to and I don't care If I get banned If i do I'll just tell everyone where to get the cheats.

Same here.  This is the first I've heard of a cheating mod or program for Sins.  Can't say I'm surprised; it was only a matter of time.

So BTW should I have loaded entrenchment is it a globally known buggy add-on?  just looking for some knowledge from someone no one is answering my post.

most people who use entrenchment copy the original sins to a seperate directory so they can play both sins and entrenchment when they want to.

Entrenchment is currently in beta so its bound to be buggy so thats a given but no worries it will soon will be fixed
