Impulse and Vista?

I'm having trouble with Impulse and Vista. It installed properly, but when I try to logon it verifies for about 3 minutes and then says "Server not responding, please check your internet connection". My internet connection is fine (becuase I can type this). And the server is fine because I can connect on another computer (using XP).

Impulse not responding

I just bought Tweak Vista and wanted to Register my product and found out I have to install Impulse so i did so. I created a stardock.net account and activated it . After that i open Impulse via Desktop Icon I type in my info and try the log-in info. Impulse seems to do nothing but look like its trying to connect then i get a message saying it could not connect to the server and i should check my internet connection which i know works because im on the net at the same time. Im using Windows Vista Ultimate 32 with IE 8 and no firewallas running in the background. Is there something I missed ?

In Impulse, click onteh orb in the upper left.  THen Preferences, then reset data.

See if that helps.

Well i cant log in . Im still getting a hang up on the log in screen after clicking log in

Your best bet is to start with a full build of Impulse. - Impulse Client - Full

Make sure any security apps are disabled (Just in case they are being a bit aggressive).

I also have this problem. I installed the full version of Impulse, but it solved nothing. It still says "Server not responding, please check your internet connection." I have Windows Vista Ultimate SP1.

Usually connection issues like this are caused by web filtering or other random security applications installed on the system that are preventing access to the Impulse site.  Try disabling or adding exceptions in any you may have installed and see if the situation betters itself.
