I think its just graphical. You seem to still get the income with only a few trade ships doing the work. The rest are hanging outside the trade port having a smoke. Whats the photo upload site. Ill post a screeny.

Same here. We can see 2 trade ships goign about their buisness as usual but 6 just stay there havign their cigaret break.
I haven't seen anything like that since the last time I drove thru a construction zone. (Michigan)
Just played a game, I saw this a little bit but by and large they were working fine. I notice they usually seem to get stuck at refineries towards the front (rear?) left (right?) of the structure. What direction is "front" anyway in a game where the camera goes any direction? Anyway I mean the side facing AWAY from the planet, towards the left of it. Maybe it's a pathfinding issue?
Im getting the same issue, but not with trade ships, but refinery tugs. Got a replay, not sure how to go about making it available. Havent looked at the income, but ive got about 5 total tugs just sitting in front of the refinery not doing anything.
