Offline installation?

After reading God knows how many positive reviews, rants about this game being DRM-free and so forth, i finally forked out my hard earned cash and bought the game online.
The thing is - I want to play this on my laptop which does not, and never will have, an internet connection for reasons too lengthy to go into here.

How do I go about achieving that? I found an "Archive" option in Impulse, but am very much unsure exactly what that does and how I may be able to use it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At the moment, Impulse can't restore archives completely offline. They're working on implementing the feature, but because a bunch of other publishers put their stuff up on the store, they have to agree on it as well. You can do it manually, however, by copying the entire Sins folder on your laptop and re-creating the registry entries manually. For now it's the only way :( It might even work without the registry entries, I'm not 100% certain.

So if I just ZIP the entire folder and check the registry for "stuff", there is a chance it will work?

Thanks for the quick reply btw! :)

If you move the folder and re-create the registry (sorry, I don't remember the reg path to get all the values off the top of my head.. just search the registry for Dregnin or Stardock and you should find it).

And it may work if you just move the folder but don't do the registry, I'm not sure.
