Updates will not install

I downloaded the updates for sins, and they will not install. (Sins doesn't pop up under my purchased games either...???) I bought sins over a year ago now and just now got around to looking for updates.

 

The Error I get is  

Sins of a Solar Empire.exe cannot be found at the Path location in your registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\sins Please make sure you have the game installed.

I have it installed, but at a non standard install location. Could that be the isssue? Is the problem with the game being registered? How do I check to see if the game is registered? If the game isn't registered how can I register it?

Yeah, it's looking for the registry entry to determine if it's installed or not so it looks like you're missing it.

You can check if the game is registered by clicking the blue ? in the top right and selecting 'register a product' - it'll show you a list of all your registrations and allow you to register a new one.
