Problems with Impulse updating

So for the past 2 hours or so, I've been trying to get my multiplayer to work.  First i realized that i needed to update, so i downloaded the 1.05 patch off the website, then installed Impulse and began to download the 1.12 patch. 

then, after about ten minutes of "Preparing the Download..." the entire updates and downloads tabs of Impulse disappeared.  I've tried to find the missing update to install it again, but it seems to be hiding.  I've even gone into the game and pressed the "Download Updates" button from the front menu, but again, nothing pops up on Impulse.


I really want to play multiplayer, but this byzantine updating process is really frustrating me.


Any help would be greatly appreciated

Having the same problem. Whatever happened to the days where I could just click a link on a web page and start downloading a patch?

Ok, I think it wants to download the patch now but after it says "Preparing Download..." it soon says "Specified value has invalid CRLF characters. Parameter name: value"

Anyone know WTF that means and how to work around it?

CRLF means Carriage Return, Line Feed (i.e. insert a new line and return cursor to the start of the row). No idea why you are getting the error to do with it though...
