Safely remove hardware issue

Hello,

Just implemented ObjectDock on Windows XP SP3 and am very happy with the product.  

The one issue I have is the inability to "safely remove hardware" in particular my external USB drive.  I created a shortcut on my hard drive with this command "%windir%\system32\RunDll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll" and dragged it to the dock.  It never gives me the permission to remove the hard drive.  When I go the the actual taskbar and use the "safely remove hardware" tray icon, I get the same result.

Is this a known issue?  Will it be resolved in an update?  Or is there a workaround?  Would the problem be solved by going to the commercial version?
