Anyone made these ship designs yet?

When I get a bit of time I will have a look through the library but the last time I look there was about 40 pages so any help would be good.

I was looking for designs (defore I have a go myself) of ship that are made for specific jobs. Graphics / looks are not important.

The sort of thing I mean is :-

Planet Defence Ships - since they will sit in orbit and wait to be attacked basically all armour and weapons with no extras

Home Soil Ships - since they will stay in your space no need for any extra range on them but  good weapons, defence and sensors

Attack Ships - ships made for going out into other space and help taking planets etc.

Also has anyone worked out how combat works so is it better to have 5 small ships or 2 big ships but overall they would be the same cost, attack etc.
