Hello, first of all I want to say I love entrenchment.. the new tech especially.. starbases and shields for the hangars ohh yeah!!:)))

Iv found a bug in entrenchement in the crystal mining i had all the upgrades for crystal and was only making one or two crystal per turn when I had like 7 or 8 mines going on crystal at several planets.. seems it must be a bug.. should have went to 3 or 4 per turn after second upgrades, then 5 or 6 on the last upgrades I would think.. I was playing advent.. as I really like playing as a female and would like to suggest having female leaders able to be chosen for all the races as well please.. also I was playing a medium random vs 3 opponents on medium setting.. they all formed alliance and jointly raided me and held off my offensive strikes and raids on their planets.. what a crock:LOL Why would tech ally with vasari against me:lol sheesh talk about making it difficult:P Anyway cept for the crystal problem and the not being able to play female on all races I really like the game add-on thanks so much stardock devs, u guys rock;)

homing mines in space is a ......pun intended.....stellar idea IMO. hence the name "entrentchment"

 

unfortunately, only one race HAS homing mines

okay.

honestly, i think the conept of how mines are placed now is fine.  how they're removed however is another matter entirely. how about this. your fighter squadrons need to have a few options regarding tactics and target acquisition. for instance, you know you're entering a GW with mines. so you switch your fighters over to target mines to the exclusion of all else, while at the same time, tweeking scouts ability to reveal them and make them targetable. multiple scouts in a fleet i've noticed, will haphazardly reveal mines, for instance, revealing one that is behind 3 or four others, so that any ship going after that mine, is blown to shreds by the ones that werent revealed by the drunk scout pilot, another thing, multiple scouts....wil inevitably attempt to reveal the same mine, and sit there for a few seconds even after their cooldown has expired.

 

so my suggestion is very simple. scouts may not target a mine to reveal that has been targeted by another scout....fighter squadrons need the option to be ordered to attack mines first, or at least give mines priority over other targets.

I noticed that trade posts and stations with trade in them cause interesting issues with freighters that haul the goods... Apperently they just sit and dont do anything! 3 or 4 just park by the station and thats it... no commerce movement... needs to be fixed!

It seems that the mini dumps for the games I am playing are getting better.  We are still getting a sync error after contining a save game but we can now save and play it several times before it comes out of sync.  The Vasari mine layer will not automate.  I also have several cargo ships that will just sit and not move.  Other then that I am very happy with the game.
