Like every skin that you find here Broken Aero needs software to run it.  The type of skin you downloaded will dictate what software you need.  If it was a WindowBlind skin you downloaded then you will need WindowBlinds to run it.

you can save it to where ever you want - a WB skin (.wba) needs software to work as mentioned above - if you have the software, all you have to do is double click the .wba and it will self install where it needs to be

I save each .wba file I download in a designated folder inside of my Documents folder. I do this so that I don't permanently lose any theme that I might like.

I recently got a new computer, and installing all of my favorite Blinds was a breeze since I had them all backed up.

As mentioned above, you need the WindowBlinds program in order to run any of these skins. ;) https://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/

Obviously, the following is all contingent upon the assumption that you have already installed WindowBlinds.

First, double-click on the .wba file. This will load it into your system.

Then, open the WindowBlinds program.  You can do this by finding it in your "All programs" list from your start menu. It should be under the Stardock category.

Once open, you should see a config screen as shown below. You then can choose which skin to apply.
