TTF Icon

I like Icon Packager, I however have one little problem it really is no big deal but would like an answer.

I cannot seen to replace the true type extension .TTF with an icon of my choice it shows up in in icon packager but when viewing a any any ttf file it shows up with the Vista default Icon. This also happens on my laptop which also runs vista both are the 32 bit programs.

I have been a user of Stardock products for years so I am familiar with how to change a file Icon to one of my choice. Infact I modified a Icon package put in the extions for the programs and files I run and changed the extion  icons to my choices and saed the package under my name as Daves Primary and Daves Primary-2

Thaks for any help that could be given in resolving this minor issue
