Benefits of Object Desktop

I am not at all new to SD (I have GCII, SoaSE etc) and I am wondering whether to get OD as well, or at least some of its sub-products.  My question is, what benefits would I get from it, and why should I buy it?

Changing your Graphic User Interface can be more than 'just' aesthetics....it can also be a 'productivity enhancement' as new alternatives to access program shortcuts/icons/etc exist.

Oh....

....and it's also just plain fun....;)

Poke around the Wincustomize site galleries and you can see everything that is possible with OD and a couple of auxilliary programs (Object Dock and Cursor FX). The screenshot gallery is a great way to see what is possible to do with your desktop
