if you could preorotized targets...annoying that they always have to go for enemy strikecrafts, instead of going for frigs.......
Fighters aren't very good against frigs, so they go after strikecraft instead. If you want to them to go after the other guys' frigs then get bombers instead of fighters. But then don't complain when their fighters kill all your bombers.
fighters are great agains Long range frigs
and i dont care about bombers, since they are free
plus i prefer to use other means of killing enemy fighters
Maybe adaptive targeting could be nice: If a player always selects LR frigs for their fighters, eventually the autotargeting would start to prioritize the LRFs.
Or you could put some under-the-hood settings for this in a config file. Player that like to tinker or get really annoyed could just do a few settings in notepad.
I'd like a stance button for fighters. Something like Defend, where they circle the fleet/cap and prioritze bombers/LRF. Escort, where they circle your bombers and prioritze fighters/flak, and attack, where they prioritize light/LRF frigs. I'm sure a button could be added that quickly changes those priorities.
