Ok, I have v.1.12 ( no entrenchment )
I don't have a mod of any sort installed.
I find sombody with no mod installed and v1.12 ( without entrenchment
For some reason the game say that He/she and I differ in versions of the game..
i get dont have the files for the multiplayer...how do i fix this problem?
What do you mean you don't have the files? First you need to update to version 1.12. To do that you need to install Impulse (Stardock's version of Steam) and then register your copy of Sins with it. Once you've done that, to find the online game click on the Ironclad Online tab.
I'm having the exact same problem. Fresh install, updated all the way to v1.12 no mods, all games I try to join says game data differs....crap!
Anyone else playing plain Sins that is seeing this? Just a guess, but it might not be filtering out Entrenchment games.
I emailed support over a day ago and my ticket is still open w/ no response. I just reinstalled the game to see if any improvements have been made to multi-player in the last 6 months...I have my answer
