Planetary Defense & Alternate missions in DL campaign

1. Does the planetary defense improvement increase the defense of ships in orbit or improve land defense also? If ships have zero defense, then this improvement has no effect?

2. How do I play the alternate missions in DL campaigns after I have already won the default missions?

1. With regards to the amount of casualties you incur (and possibly inflict, not positive on that part), it considers your population to be +25% for each one.

2. You should be able to start the campaign again and quit or "lose" the default missions to get the alternates.

Yes, I can instant lose the mission but how do I instant win a mission to get to the next one? I don't want to replay the default must-win missions again.

I misunderstood.

It should be Ctrl + Shift + W with cheat mode activated (via the shortcut to the game executable-not the launcher).
