Impulse won't register SOASE

I just got impulse today to get the 1.1 patch, I load up impulse once installed and head over to the register tab.

I enter in my cd-key i had on my manual and put in my email, I then press Add Registration and it seems to be loading but after that i get this error that makes no sense.

Object Reference not set to an instance of an object (ref: -99)

Can someone please tell me how to fix this and to get impulse to accept my Serial number?

Though I've logged in and downloaded in the past (not with out angst I might add ... boy I hate this impulse system ...) I'm getting the same error. Impule forum mentions some sort of server/DB error that hit Christmas Eve. I suspect it's related to that. I'm basically going to wait until that is confirmed as fixed before trying again.

I'll wait for them to fix the servers then try again.

The Stardock root database server had a hardware crash on Christmas eve. The DB admins are working on restoring it but some services will be affected including customer database updating, software updating and downloading and other services.  We do not currently have an ETA to solve due to limited personnel being available on Christmas eve / Christmas day but it should be rectified within the next 48 hours.

Note: All users who purchase anything between December 24 and the time this issue is rectified will be receiving a 33% off coupon on all future purchases as a token of appreciation for your patience.

Thanks Stardock for your hard work.

I am not sure if this is due to ongoing server issues, but I'm getting this error message when trying to download the patch: "Product Registration Failed. The email address or serial number you entered is invalid. Check to make sure that you have entered the correct registration."

I checked my SoaSE box and also looked at my original registration email to make sure I had entered the correct information in Impulse. Should I pm a moderator or email tech support with my information? Thanks for your assistance.

For some reason, my Impulse won't register SOASE. It says that the cd key is already used. How can that be? I did not took the game from a friend, I've bought it, but, it WON'T REGISTER SOASE FOR F**K SAKE >:(

For the last two please email support@stardock.com

ClassicsKiing: Your issue is probably a case of using a different email to register the product.  Please confirm you are logging into Impulse with the proper account.  It sounds like you may have two accounts?

Tito-Defekt: Unfortunately, it sounds like your serial number was guessed by someone and used already.  Please contact support to have a new serial number issued.

Zargon0225,

I've contacted them and submitted a ticket, but I'm so dumb that I've lost my CD case now >_>

I have to find it, or I won't be able to download the updates X(
