Espionage and Minor Races
How would I make it stop saying "Let's not waste agents on Minor Races."? This is infuriating! A minor race has become a significant force and I need to spy on them!

you can't...spying on minors just isn't part of the game.

It should be. I'll take to the .exe if I have to. There is no reason whatsoever for this feature to be blocked.
That was changed in the 2.0 update, but it required hard coding changes to do it.
So this isn't a problem anymore? I'll have to get the latest update.
2.0 brings civ-level spying, which enables one to spy on minor races. This is applicable for both DA and TA, but not DL, which although it has civ-level spying, of a different type, one cannot spy on minors there.
Have there been recent changes to DA? I didn't know if the espionage changes were going to make it to DA. The MCC is still not "fixed" from what i know.
Espionage change is to my knowledge the only thing that got backported to DA. The MCC change was supposed to be backported as well, but I'm not sure why it was neglected. In any case, I feel that TA's MCC is in fact even more powerful, and so personally I'm not too worried about it.
There is the fact that now DA is compiled using floating point precision so there are no more industrial (military/social) rounding errors, but this isn't something most people would notice or even be concerned about. Which is all the more reason everyone should thank Cari for fixing it.
that's interesting...good lord! when was the last time i actually played ![]()
Soooo true!
(Surface tiles scramble, next? Right?)
and - we - always- want - even - more - Fixes, please. ![]()
But, someone needs to force
boy off the AIs perfectionism trend(s) - cuz, the more i play TA the more i get some weird activities from Thalan & Yor (++) tricky tree advantages. ![]()
