Step-by-step on recording a game.

I'm sure this has been covered before, but since the search feature stinks on here I'm not gonna spend an hour manually trying to find a thread.  So, if someone can answer my Q or link a thread that does answer...I would be highly appreciative.

Need a step-by-step walkthrough on how to start a game recording.  I cannot seem to nail down a tried and true method to getting this to work properly, for some reason.

Thanks

1'st there seems to be problems with replaying a 1.05 if upgraded to 1.1 etc etc

2'nd you need to open the game and view recordings throu that.

if that was not enough be a bit more detailed as to what you're trying to do

Sorry, after re-reading I see where it's misleading.

I want to record a game that I am playing...how do you accomplish this?

my question is, my auto-record is on and i play through the game...at the end of the game do I need to create a save game and that would have the entire recording of the game just played?

Or do I create the save game at the beginning of the game and then it records the entire game on that save file?

Or is it something else that I am just not seeing or getting?

Very confused on this process...>:(

It automatically saves a replay each time a game ends, you don't need to do anything special for it. When you go to Single Player > Watch, you can tab through replay categories just like saves/maps. I think replays are split between AutoRecord-Single, AutoRecord-Multi, and I'm pretty sure there are folders for manual records as well. Your MP replay should be in AutoRecord-Multi?

Sweet, thank you very much.  I will see if it's there tonight when I get home.  I knew you would know the answer.
