Anyone else hate?

Impulse?

Because...First, off I ran a check to verify my Sins of a Solare Empire install. And it said I had installed it wrong. Then I go to update it like it says. It gets all the way to 100% and then gives some netowrk error and never does anything else.

Wow, Stardock way to go. First, you try and copy Steam and guess what you do the worst job of it in the world, by makeing the crappest install/community/game buying engine ever concieved!

Fix it or die Stardock.

Now that is just plain mean!!!

Half a million players got it to work...so if its not working on your part..fine contact Stardock and explain the problem! Im sure theyll solve it (I bet you havent even done that logical step yet)!

If they cant! THEN complain....MODERATELY!!!

This is outright childish behavior of someone who cant do something and its everyone elses fault but himself!

Its not Die Stardock for making a crap system! To the contrary, thanks to Impulse, downloads have never been simpler to install...even more you can FREELY (if youre registered of course)..download SINS AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT!! Its more die bitching players that ccant take 5 mins to read the instruction manuel before starting!

Now tell me that Steam beat this? doubt it!

Good luck fixing your issue! With that attitude, if I were Stardock, I WOULD IGNORE YOU! but then again, theyre a lot nicer than me!

Take care....

What company did you say you work for?  >_>

I detect the pungent smell of a troll in this thread... :troll:

Thing is seeing as it has an auto install as with almost all games he must have been custom installing it in some way.  Hence its likely to be his problem.  If I were you Craig I would kick him out and say good riddance.  However I think Mr HighCommander is likely to find that Stardock and Ironclad are an awful lot more helpful than he assumes.

Not everyone is like EA - if they were then this thread would already have been deleted!

I'm going to assume it's a serious but frustrated person.

If you have a fast connection, what you might want to do is uninstall Sins. Then load up Impulse, and tell it to install Sins. That *should* do it in a way that makes things happy. If it's still not working, you'll need to bug support probably.

I think the first place you went wrong, poster, was to update it after it said it was not installed correctly. You should have tried to reinstall it. ;)

First off I would like to say. No, you are accurate in for everything you say. There is a reason that steam has more players than impulse. I did ask Stardock to help, but all they told me is that there is no other reported issues of this happening, so there was nothing they could do about it because they don't know what is wrong.

Thanks to impulse things have never been easier to download and install? Steam has done that for like 6 years. So I don't understand how they were the ones to establish this? If they are gonna copy something they should do it right.

I can express how I feel the world/internet is free speech. I am just voicing my opinion on something. I like how all of you are so quick to judge a person that is just saying how he feels.

Second, I don't work for a company that is at all related to Impulse, Steam, or anything of the sort.

Thrid, I didn't say it installed improperly or anything like that. I said when Steam tried to update things it just stopped at the every end. And I did uninstall it and then reinstal it via Impulse that was the only way to fix it.

Whatever though. Because I mean I love it when I ask for help on something, whether or not I am really angry about, it to have people just call me a troll or be assholes about the entire thing.
