ObjectDock vs. ObjectBar

What's the difference?

Is there any reason to use ObjectDock if I have ObjectBar?  What's the real difference?  Is there any reason to purchase ObjectBar Plus?  (Why isn't it just included in Object Desktop 2009...?)

Objectdock is just that . . a dock.  It is a app launcher (with some docklet support).

ObjectBar is a super-powerful tool.

I use both.

fire up OB and see what it does.  Load a few of the packaged themes.  Make your own bar. (directions here: http://www.stardock.com/products/objectbar/docs/Creating_OB.asp)

Grab the free version of Objectdock . . give it a try too.  The Plus version is even better.

Thanks a lot!  I ended up picking up ObjectDock Plus for the tabbed docks.  I'll have to play around with ObjectBar some.

Okay so here's my deal with the ObjectBar 2.

I downloaded it because I want something to cut the shortcuts off my desktop. I thought maybe I could get an awesome sidebar action thing goin on, but as it turns out, I dont think I can or mayber I did it wrong. Is ObjectBar what I need or is there something else out there for me to look at??

Thanks,

Will

OB can make some Awesome sidebars.  Did you try all the bars that came with it?  They should give you an idea.
