Titlebar is Gone

No Titlebar in ANY Skin

Titlebar Missing

This is an example of my Titlebar missing on ALL programs... (Normal Windows "Windows" are fine).

Here is my Stardock Info:

Your computer has a Windows Experience Index base score of 3.4
Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 3.4

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC
WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC

Basically, the Titlebars are all gone when I use a skin. I am using Vista Ultimate 64bit. I am not using Direct Folder or ever have had that installed on my PC.

No matter which theme I apply, the titlebars are gone (Even on WiondowBlinds Screen)... You can Min/Maximize using the taskbar, but that is it, Once I either return to Aero or Classic, they are fine.

I would try uninstalling windowblinds, running Ccleaner, and reinstalling windowblinds through Impulse. If that does not fix it, contact Stardock Support with your problem and provide them with a link to this thread.

Interesting utility. (cCleaner That is...)

Ran it fully on the registry and the PC itself and re-installed WindowBlinds... with NO success... no titlebars.

was having the same problem so i contacted support...heres my response that worked for me(second option with impulse)

Hello,

Please go to Start> Run.. in XP or Start>Start Search in Vista, type "regedit" and hit enter. Navigate to the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\ObjectDesktop\WindowBlinds

You'll want to make sure it is set to the following path:

32 Bit: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds
64 Bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds
(NOTE: If you installed WindowBlinds to a different directory, replace the above default one with your custom location)

If the path was incorrect, change it and then reboot.

If it is in fact pointing to this path, please try the following:

-Launch Impulse. Right click on the entry for WindowBlinds and choose "Verify application"
-Impulse will check the integrity of the installed application. You should be given feedback as to the state of the installed application.
-If errors are found, an update should be made available in Impulse. You'll need to select another application and then reselect WindowBlinds to run the update.
(NOTE: This is a UI bug in Impulse, that should be fixed in a future update)
-Once the update completes, reboot your PC.

Please let me know whether this resolves your problem or if you have any additional questions.

SIDE NOTE(Ccleaner wont hit all of the windowsblinds registries)

I had exactly these issues on a 64bit Vista machine.  I had an Nvidia 8800 card, but then switched to an ATI equivalent.  Both with latest drivers.

I tried the above suggestions, noticed that the path was in 8.3 (PROGRAM~2/STARDOCK~1...) but changed it anyway.  No go.

IE7/Firefox/Windowblinds config were all sans title bar, and things like radio buttons were missing.  Only Classic theme worked.

So the kicker was that I used the stand alone installer rather than Impulse.  No offense, but for one app  (so far) I didn't want the overhead of the custom delivery mechanism.  And therein lay the problem.  The stand alone just doesn't work.  Uninstalling/reinstalling several times with all these suggestions did nothing.

I finally conceded and installed/ran Impulse, verified the stand alone install to find it was in fact badly installed.  I ran the update and rebooted.  Now it works fine.

Any ideas why the stand alone installer is not 100%?

Just thought I'd comment on my experience here.
