Impulse

I bought the Object Desktop upgrade today and I was sent a link to download Impulse, which I assume I need to do to get my  Object Desktop software...I've tried multiple times to download and install Impulse but when I try and open it I get one of those Windows error messages that says that Impulse has encountered an error and needs to shut down. Of course shutting it down and restarting it does no good as I get the same error again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You need .net framework to run Impulse, check and see if you have it.  If not go to the Mirosoft download site and download it.  I believer anything over 2.0 is what is needed.  I have 3.0

What OS are you running?

Hi, thanks for the reply...I have Net framework 2.0 and I'm running Windows XP...

 

I had Net Framework 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5...I tried uninstalling all of them except 2.0, but that didn't help any

I just went through the same (?) problem. I had to do Microsoft Windows Update - Custom, not Express - and reboot after every update before it worked.

Thanks...I'll probably try that tomorrow...right now I'm just PO'd and wishing I'd just ordered the CD. Thanks for your help though :grin:
