Why can't I wote at the Poll?

The front page poll does have a vote button. What browser are you using? Are you sure the image didn't just fail to load?

Um...OverLoard is right, I can't vote either.  no buttons, just shows the sliders with the vote totals and that is it.  Something is definitely buggy about it. And I'm using IE7.

Designer should be testing this stuff on both Win and OS X including all pop browsers for both systems me thinks

If you're seeing the tally then it probably thinks you already voted. Clear your cookies and you should be set.

Uh, as a web developer (which I am), we test our apps in IE, Firefox, and Safari.  That's part of our QA testing.  Looks like there is a bug keeping this from working on all browsers apparently.

Still not working.  Deleted cookies, temp internet files, and cleared my browser cache.  Still not showing up.

while we are at it - i hope SD wont mind if I also through suggestion to reskin this forums... I mean site looks like its about some game from 1995 at very best... no offence but sharper, more contemporary looks to this site would sure make this place much more enjoyable for current users and would surely attract new ones too...

I'm having the same problem with the poll, but firefox wouldn't let me upload any pics here either. Had to go back to internet explorer for all the tabs and stuff to work.

edit: just tried it on Internet explorer, still can't vote, but did get the upload pics tabs in "My Account" to work using internet explorer.

Firefox and IE no go for me

Firefox 3, IE7, IE8 or Safari do not work for me on 2 different machines either.
I also wasn't able to vote in the last poll.

You'd think that if they want us to vote and they want to get data for this kind of thing...that they'd make it work for e1.

Don't know if they finally fixed this or what (my guess is that they did), but it now works for me.  I was finally able to cast my vote.   Yah!!!

Still not working for me, but I don't really care. Not that important anyway.
