Soundpackager not working

When I try to Run Soundpackager it starts to run and then it stops and gives me a error message ... it starts with"Ear Candy" est.  XP Pro. can give more info if needed. David

I bought mine on the Impule weekend sales and I am using Vista home edition. It starts up and then a Vista window opens to say the application has stopped working. I've re-booted and get the same error. I really wanted to try this out. Any ideas?
