wb 6.3 and ie 8 blank menus

Any body found that using IE8 with wb the menus are invisable. I tried a few skins and only windows xp worked.

The menu is there in that there is a block and colours etc. None of the text is visable, yet the menus that have

flyout menus are visable.

I remember reporting this for Windows XP SP3 a while back.  I reported it a while back complete with screenshots.

Please remember that IE 8 is still beta software and not intended to be used on a production environment.

Neil:  If you have a known issues list then please check that because I think that it should be there.  This issue came up quite a while ago too while I was using WindowBlinds.

I'm using IE8 and my menus aren't blank.  Everything works fine for me.  Maybe check your WB font settings?

Sounds similar to my menus in PS CS4... when i move the cursor over them the dropdown menu options disappear but the flyouts work... (thats why i dont let wb skin it k10w3 ;) )

(edit)Was trying to take a screenshot of it... to my suprise i could not.... when the menu display's correct it is possible but when it disappears pressing print screen does nothing... and i also noted that the menu items disappear after i use a flyout and then back to the dropdown menu (when i move my pointer over them the disappears). Im in Vista Ultimate 32 btw

For some reason it happens with some XP systems. The drop doen menus are blackened out. If you give all of the pixels on the menu image some transparency the problem goes away but if the menus have smooth/ transparanet corners but have solid pixels throughout elsewhere the the pixels turn black. As far as I know, everyone that had the problem is on Xp sp3. No other info. I prefer my menus solid as they get a wierd shadow if transparent.

Actually I remember using vista menu rules to "fix" the issue on XP.  Is that what you did to get it to work?
