Linux?? Oh God please... I'm begging!!

Any hope???

Is there any hope for Linux package now that progress has been made on the OSX port?

This would really simplify my life. Switching back and forth between synergy and Multiplicity is a real pain. Multiplicity is better- but while working my alt machines have to run Linux.

Hope? Please?

Alternativly, if Stardock would make the protocol specification available, I'd be willing to to take the existing synergy code, and hack it into a limited Multiplicy client with no server component. This could be a little daemon that runs under sessions. That way you would have to own the Windows license to use it. Which would keep it closed source.

I know I know... synergy handles the networking differently. But it's a starting point. It already knows how to move the mouse in Linux, can be run from X config, or sessions, and the code is freely available...

Either option woudl make me happy!!

No kidding! Would be awesome if Stardock did that! :)

According to Stardock 2008 Customer Report (received in 10/24/08), there will be no linux development made by stardock. Probably because there is not enough linux users using stardock programs.

I would love that too, but that is not going to happen :(

(sorry for my bad english)

Thought Stardock just made applications for Windows platform only, so no wonder there is not "enough" Linux users using Stardock programs. :P
