Weather docklet

timezone

This is potentially a problem originating at accuweather.com itself. Nonetheless, it has to be pointed out, that the forecast dating is weird, most probably due to the timezone differences.

I reside int the GMT+1 timezone. Today is Monday. The fan lists forecasts for: Today, Tomorrow, Tuesday, Wednesday... Umm tomorrow IS Tuesday, so what's with different forecasts for the same day?

During a few evening hours the list seems normal.

The weaher docklet has been on and off for me for two weeks now mostly off. It worked great before that.

What location are currently using? What happens if you remove the docklet and replace it with a new one?

The issue should have been cleared already so I would like to try and track down the culprit if I can.

Location: Ljubljana, Slovenia. Timezone: GMT+1

ObjectDock version is 1.90 build 536.

Removing and re-adding the docklet doesn't make any difference. Sorry, but it looks like the issue did not go away.

Try copy and pasting this:  Ljubljana, Slovenia ()

There seems to be an error in the location code on the Accuweather side. Let me know if that helps.

I am not sure if I successfully conveyed the question. I use OD on 3 PCs, all with the same location, as specified. Two of them work, one doesn't. But this has been covered by others and is not what I am trying to point out.

What I am trying to point out is that the docklet, when it works, apparently works as if I was in GMT-11 zone (or something).

Anyway, we all appreciate your dedication. Thank you.

oh.... right then. What is different, if anything about the computer that does not work? Any security software?

Doesn't matter, as I said, and I am sorry to have mentioned it, by now, all of them work.

I was rather talking about the weirdness of having two different forecasts for "tomorrow" Once again:

if today is Saturday, the weather fan will say:

Today, TomorrowSunday, Monday, Tuesday

ok?

I have the same problem, however I think I have an idea where the problem may be coming from. I use the applet at home no problem. I use it at work: the problem is the same as Damjan describes. However the difference is that at my work, the outside IP address is a US IP address ( and teh geo-location services recognize it as such). So it may be that either accuweather, or the applet uses timezone information based on the geolocation of the IP-Address?

It with a new OCX seems to work.
