I tried to get the beta by going to the downloads https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/update.aspx page, but that tells me to download this link. So I do and all the application does is send me back to the aforementioned download page. Closed Circle. Can someone plz give me a some clear steps (or a link with clear steps) to follow to get v1.1? Thank You.
1. Please visit www.impulsedriven.com and download / install IMPULSE.
2. Enter your registration information when prompted (when you start Impulse for the first time)
3. Update your SINS game to v1.1 using Impulse.

This only works some of the time. I own Sins, have downloaded the beta patches, but with the 1.1 patch Impulse no longer recognizes my serial number. I've got the number right, it's in the game's case, I've checked it with Support and tried on two different computers.
I will say that Stardock Support has been good to me and helped me fix numerous problems. But seriously, I'm getting tired of numerous problems. I think Impulse is the biggest mistake Stardock ever made. It's sad that such a great company, and definately one who listens to their customers, can take such a wrong turn.
