Impulse will not start

I installed framework 2.0, I installed impulse. And when I attempt to open it, it

pops out with a message saying the program cannot initialize. Then when I attemp

to send an error report, it pops up with another error.

How can I fix this problem?

basically it was durring the time when I had multiple updates pending

to be installed via reboot. After I rebooted, everything whent fine
