Dreams starting in window ?

Hi,

 

why some of my dreams starting in a ActiveMovie Window and not in the background as they should???

Can someone help, please ?

goodnightearth for example.... same problem with grassy field

 

after a while it stops in the window and i got this error:

Could not play videodream

The dream may contain an invalid video type or a compatible MPEG-2 video decoder may not be present.

 

But i installed one.

Hi

Be aware withg the launch of Windows 7 Dreams do not work their at all.

Users can get a copy off Windows 7 Beta from M$ today.

 

Dreams complains that a service is not running that it neads.

Hi,

Same problem with my Vista Home premium : some dreams works perfectly, others only appears in an activemovie windows ; file size isn't the problem as, during my several downloads, a 40 Mo dream is ok and a 18 Mo don't work.

As Mikjo Grassyfield dont' work ?

i've found a solution : dreams don't work when video associated files are mpg (wmv is ok) ; so i don't know if this is a driver pbm (i've Vista home premium so mpeg2 decoder).

As i don't wand spend several hours to find an hypothetic driver pbm, you can convert your mpg file to wmv file with movie maker (soft included in Windows) and then create yourself your dream with dreamaker application in your c:\program\stardock directory

Now, all work fine !

sounds like youwere missing a codec.

But if you are good . .then you're good.
