Impulse Broken

Cannot see drive "D"

Impulse insists that I do not have Galciv2 installed.  When I use the built in impulse tool  tosearch my harddrive to show impulse where the game impulse will not accept the location because is drive "D" and not "C" .  The game launch no problem from my "D" drive but impulse will not update it there.  Impulse does find and update Twilight no problem on my "D" drive .   I really like GalCiv but Impulse is the dumbest thing a game company has every done.

I thought Stardock was stupid but you are going to get me to quit playing your games after paid for and enjoyed them for years.

email me a site I can download an exe file.

I recieved your email advising of the update launched impulse and update twilight with no problem.  Tried to update Dark avatar it will not update.    Impulse says I do not have have galciv II on my my computer when I do indeed have it.  It give an option to browse for Galciv II.  When I browse to the folder labeled Galciv with the files inside and try to select it, the window just closes.  I was able to play Twilight and the other chapter no problem before I update Twilight now I cannot.

I am having the same problem.  I have the gold edition which only gave me one serial number which registers as Dark Avatar.  When I try to play Twilight it say Avatar needs to be updated.  When I try to update Avatar it says GalCiv2 is not registered.  I put in my ONE serial number no luck.  I point to directory for browse option no luck.  How can this be resolved?

The game edtion is GaLCiv2 gold.  I downloaded Arnor from IMpulse.

Machine is Dell XPS 630i OS is Vista sp1, 4G RAM updates are current

Video is Nvidia 9600GT

Thanks for the info.  I have the IT team looking into it.

The main issue (and this is why we had to stop supporting SDC for updates) is there's a ton of permutations for Impulse to handle so they're struggling a bit.  Hopefully we'll have this resolved shortly.

Hi!

Could you please post the order in which you installed the GalCiv II game and expansions?  Please include the medium used to install each (order is important) such as CD, SDC or Impulse.

Thank you!
