Serial Code Issue? / Blocked from www.stardock.com?

Okay so roughly Five days ago I purchased Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords from Best Buy, Primarily for my father as he is a very big fan of Masters of Orion II, and it looked quite similar.

We have four computers,  I installed it on mine to show it to him as he was having issues with his at the time, screwed around in a sandbox map for about an hour and quit.

At this point it recognized the serial code just fine, was able to update the game & heightmaps with no issue.

So today we go to install it on his computer, first install accidental typo in the serial code of a 8 instead of a B, did a complete reinstall just to avoid any issues.

We then proceeded to click the ''update game'' button I logged in with my stardock central account, the only other game I've registered is sins the game seems to update fine to 1.50.135, but afterwards we get an error pasted below, and an error window pop up -> http://img201.imageshack.us/my.php?image=stardockissuescropqx4.jpg <-

Also the big thing - We are unable to connect to www.stardock.com on both this(my computer) and my father's computer, yet we are able to connect to this website on the two other household computers(seperate IP's) are we being blocked? we haven't done anything wrong to my knowledge.

Oh also - when trying to start the game on his computer it asks for the activation code and gives us those errors below even though you aren't supposed to need the code to play? but I will repeat we do have a valid code so I do not understand where the issue is coming from =/

Unlikely--if you were running afoul an ipban on someone else using the same ISP, you'd be unable to access any of the sites.

As to the registration/activation issue, please contact support@stardock.com.

Email has been sent, thank you for the link.

Should I send another email about the inability to get to www.stardock.com  ? I can get to impuse, sins website, galciv website etc just not stardock.

To clarify all four computers have seperate IP addresses, and all are connected to the internet able to 'surf' any other website just the two are blocked from stardocks 'main' website for some reason, yet the other two are able to access it just fine /shrug.

A thought - since the computers(IP adresses rather) are blocked from stardocks website, or unable to access it perhaps the key cannot be registered?
