Natural Desktop

I hate to nag...   I'm not, really.  I posted about this once upon a time, but the post was pre-impulse and I want to make sure it gets brought over.  Searching the forum via impulse returned no posts at all about Natural Desktop.

I'm after a Vista compatible version of it.  If you guys would make it, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.  I looked awesome, but, alas, I found it just after upgrading.  I'd have had it if I was still on XP.  :)

I dont believe stardock has any plans at the moment to update this application.  They have mentioned it before several times in other posts.  It has been run by some people in Windows XP compatibility mode under Vista, however i have yet to get it to work this way, sohave filed it under do not use in vista. The graphics just dont show up[ properly with Vista's new 3d desktop in my opinion, same as Oxidized Desktop, just not the same on Vista as on XP, and full of runtime errors too.  Hope that helps

That's a shame.  I hope you're mistaken.  Natural Desktop is a really awesome app.  I'd LOVE to see it come over to Vista or Win 7 and be updated to take advantage of the new features.  It'd be fun to watch the rain or snow on an animated background or watch the wind blow through the leaves in autumn.  :)
