sometimes 2 wifi icons in "sysdock"

Hello,

 

sometimes I find 2 wifi icons in my dock I use for displaying the system tray. I don't have a 2nd wifi card and clicking the icon makes it go away. What is disturbing is that I have tracked down Explorer hang issues on logoff to there being 2 wifi icons: if there are, Explorer and a couple of other apps don't react on shutdown, if there aren't 2 icons: no hang.

 

frequency: every 3rd boot.

 

Will be great if the cause is found and the issue corrected!

Back up your settings and then delete the dock that contains the systray. Then create a new dock and load the saved settings onto it. Let me know if the same problem persists after you do a system restart.

Thanks, following your suggestion the issue hasn't occured in 5 boots now. If the issue occurs again and I remember this post and have time to reply, I will update it!

Sounds good. There will be an update this month for the Object Dock beta. Once that hits you will need Impulse to update the software and I highly suggest that you do. If the situation comes up again please use this fix as a work around until the beta launches. If you want to be really careful uninstall the whole of the program, then restart, then install everything fresh from Impulse once the release is out. Please let me know if you have further questions.
