ObjectDock not opening up folders...

See title.

I have already made sure that the folder paths are pointing to the right place, dragging and dropping from the right location, etc., and no folders will open. The default My Computer icon will not bring anything up, either, nor will the Recycle Bin.

It will glow for a few seconds as if it's trying to open something and then stops.

I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling OD, but it's still doing the same thing.

In addition, I've also checked a few points in my registry that might have gotten corrupted, but everything looked okay.

Any thoughts? :(

with the current version of objectdock plus i have sort of the same problem. the my computer icon does not open and gives an error.

i have fixed this by making a new shortcut with explorer.exe and the "/n, C:\" parameters. this opens the explorer on the drive c: rather than on user/documents.

this is just a workaround, i have no clue what's the problem. btw. it works if i have a link to my computer on the desktop....

I have the same problem with Windows' windows. My Computer, Control Panel, Setups, don't always open from my SD Taskbar.

Just to trouble shoot what happens if you create a short cut to the folder you want and drag it onto the dock instead of the main folder?

At least in my case, that only happens with the taskbar, not any of the other docks.

Try deleting the Object Dock file found here:

%userprofile%\local settings\application data\stardock

This is the cache folder and I'm not certain the uninstall removes it fully. Let me know if that helps.
