Mod Multi Between Vista and XP

A buddy and myself have been trying to play the same mod online and have been having connection issues that ONLY occur when the mod is activated. He just switched to Vista and I'm still running XP, and I played the mod with another friend on XP yesterday. We figured through process of elimination that the server views us as having different versions because the mod path in vista is different from XP, is there any way to fix this?

u can use a hardlink to link the vistapath to the original xppath. If u want an easyway look for "ntfslink" with google.

 

Otherwise u can use the comandolinetool that brings vista...
