I just downloaded from Impusle Twilight of Arnor and printed the documentation. It contains no new info and no reference to the game. It is identical to Dark Avatar. Where is all the new stuff on tech trees etc.
You need the new Galactopedia. It doesn't hand-hold as much as one might like, but it's the most helpful thing I know of. Also read the "ToA 101" thread at the top of the Strategy section of these forums.

Isn't an updated manual supposed to be part of 2.0? IIRC, we should have a new PDF with the install after Wednesday.
Galactopedia is .NET-dependent, but if that's not a problem for you (it was for me, but Vista removed my choice in the matter), I agree with tetley that it's very helpful. I often have it open while I'm playing so I can switch over and get the tech details that are missing from the trade and research UI contexts, especially now that I'm on the long road of learning the variety in TA trees.
