Can some please let me know if I am being an idiot or not. How am I supposed to create ships in the ship builder if I can not spin the ship with the mouse. I can spin the ship with CTRL+ Arrow keys but not the mouse. I'm sure this used to work.
Can anyone help even if it is to tell me its a bug or me being an idiot.

Do you mean the rotation buttons don't work any more? That little collection of buttons in the upper left corner with "normal view" in the middle?
Kind of cound't you rotate the view by holding down both buttons at the same time. It had the same effect as using CTRL+ an arrow key.
I don't recall the game supporting double-button rotation; the default is to use the middle button. Ctrl+arrows was added specifically for those using trackpads or two-button mice.
It may have been middle mouse button but that isn't working wither and I'm not sure if it is my mouse but the zoom in and out works fine with the wheel.
If you have any special mouse software, make sure that the middle button isn't assigned a special function. In Logitech's MouseWare, for example, it should be set to 'generic button'.
That could be it I am using a logitech mouse. will try that when I get home thank you kryo.
