New Token-Ready TotalGaming.net Games

In an effort to give all those who still have TotalGaming.net tokens faster access to the games we're adding, I've decided to start posting their purchase links for tokens directly on this page.  For those customers who don't have tokens and are wondering what I'm talking about, please head over to ImpulseDriven.com - that's our new store and has the same games available plus dozens more.

As we continue to add games to Impulse that qualify for Tokens, we'll update this list. All of the games listed on the TotalGaming.net website are still available for sale using Tokens, PayPal or credit cards (though we prefer you head over to Impulsedriven.com if you're not using Tokens).  To order a game using tokens, please click the ORDER or PRE-ORDER link - the game name will take you to the Impulse store page for more info, but you will not be able to use tokens there.

Note: All of the above games require Impulse to download and install; they will not be made available on the old Stardock Central system.  The system requirements for Impulse are:

  • Windows XP/Vista
  • Internet Explorer 7.0
  • Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0
  • Athlon/Pentium III (1GHz or higher)
  • 512MB RAM
  • 1GB HD space recommended

    Yarlen,

    Are you still planning to add a coupon conversion for the tokens on impulse games?

    I seem to be unable to login to the TG.net website to check token balance and/or make purchases.  I'm also sending an email to the support address.

    So I don't follow this very much, nor do I use Windows very much. Will tokens still be avalable for purchase in Impulse? Will my old tokens work for the forseeable future? I normally use my Mac but I wanted a Galactic Civ fix and found all this impulse rubbish (well it looks pretty slick).

     

    If I have Impluse installed can I uninstall SDC with no ill effects?

    To spend tokens, you need to use the TotalGaming.net website (http://www.totalgaming.net). We will not be selling new tokens, so once you're out, that's it. The Impulse store will not allow token purchases (hence why you need to spend them directly on the TGN website).

    You should use the Impulse client to download/install games (SDC is being discontinued). I can't say whether Impulse will work on a Mac; we don't support that platform or emulators for it.

    I wanted to preorder the Sins...:Entrenchment using my tokens, but the store doesn't show the tokens as a possibility.  How do I the the preorder using a token?

    I tried to purchase "Overclocked" using the above link. It, however, did not give me a token option.

     The "Overclocked" token option worked! 

    On another note, I am considering purchasing "Elemental" with tokens.  I am trying to decide between the digital only or with retail box.  I know it is too early to tell, however, if the game were to come with extras such as a map,  I would love to receive one.  Is it possible to purchase the game with tokens and have an option to 'pay' for the shipping/handling seperately in order to receive the retail box?

    I am greatly looking forward to the game!!!!

    No, but what you can do is pre-order digitally using tokens now and then upgrade your order later for a boxed version.  We typically offer these upgrades once one of our games gets closer to its release date.

    Hi Yarlen, I'm trying to find the Entrenchment order link on totalgaming.net but can't find any. Is it still possible for me to use token on this preorder?

    Im a bit curious about this.. im considering spending most of my reamining tokens on demigod, is the upgrade option avavible for it to? if som when? and how do you update to also recive box?

     

    (im a bit oldfasioned, and get the box version whenever i can.)

    I have this message syaing that "

    I'm getting the same error as colonyan. It doesn't appear to be just entrenchment, but all games on TGN.

    Ditto.  Was trying to see if I can preorder Elemental.  I only have 4 tokens.  Can I use my 4 and pay the rest on my credit card?

    Apparently the links got borked somewhere along the line and since I have heard zippo on the bug report I sent in to support I should think that they are all out on vacation or too busy.  I've been checking back ever since the 29th in hopes that the links were fixed but as I discovered today the moderator who normally posts here hasn't been online in over a month.

    I'm getting the same error when I try to buy Twilight using the couple of tokens I have left.  I would like to get Hinterland too, but it's only availible on impulse and not on totalgaming.net -- I may end up getting it through steam instead which is a shame because I like what stardock has done for indie game developers.

    We could try posting in the forum.  I think that would get more notice.  I still would like to know about using 4 tokens to pay for part of a 6 token game.
