How do I load a theme in DesktopX that is a .Desktop file type, my desktopX doesnt see them?

Note:

I have the object desktop suite 2004, and if i cannot open .Desktop files with theis version thn is there a way for me to convert .dektop's to .dxtheme's?

Double-click it or open your DesktopX theme browser.

I edited it after that reply was posted, but desktopx doesnt load them.

I think that is the source of problem. You might want to consider updating.
